Does A Snore Guard Work?
Snore Guard: Do These Actually Work?
If you are suffering from snoring you’ve probably heard about a snore guard and are wondering whether or not it actually works.
I have suffered from snoring for more than 10 years and have tried just about every type of snore stopper product you could think of. I’ve tried the nasal strips, the snore pillow, the snore mouthpiece, the snore chin strap, and more.

My wife and I spent quite a bit of time and quite a bit of money looking for a product that could really offer a solution. One of those products was a snore mouth guard.
How Did The Snore Guard Work For Me?
Of all the products that I tried the mouth guard was one of the most effective but it didn’t come without its share of problems. The snore mouthpiece that I bought and purchased had to be fitted to my mouth (I believe they are all this way).
In order to fit it perfectly to your mouth you have to drop it in boiling hot water (so that the plastic becomes malleable) and then drop it in cold water right before you put it in your mouth. Then you suck on the mouthpiece and bite down simultaneously. The piece should then be fitted to your mouth.
While wearing the piece in my mouth at night my snoring was reduced. My wife said that she only woke up a few times and when she did my snoring was greatly reduced.
Although the snore guard did work it had its problems. The main problem is that the mouthpiece kept falling out. 3 out of 5 nights it would fall out of my mouth and I would start snoring again.
It would also cause me to drool. I would drool heavily and wake up in the morning with a big puddle of drool on my pillowcase.
Finally the mouthpiece made a whistling noise as I exhaled. Not a very loud noise but it did make a noise. Maybe it was just the snore guard that I bought.
Although I did have some success with it I do not recommend the mouthpiece.
What I do recommend and what I have been using recently with great success is a snore spray. The snore spray I use is completely natural (which is good for me because I like to limit the amount of chemicals I expose myself to). I just use a couple of sprays a night and I don’t have to worry about putting in a mouthpiece or strapping on a chin strap.
With it I am feeling more refreshed in the morning and have more energy and more concentration throughout the day. I love it and recommend it to everyone.
